Overview
The CDM Showcase returned in 2025 for its third annual edition. The day was hugely insightful, highlighting the innovative solutions using the CDM in the capital markets industry. The event covered themes of innovation in trading and lifecycle management, optimising collateral management, DRR and regulatory reporting, and the future of the market more broadly. Various presenters took to the stage to highlight where and how they have implemented the CDM, through demonstrations and presentations. There was also networking opportunities throughout the day to discuss with traders/front office, operations/middle office, IT/developers, change agents, senior managers as well as business managers, product managers, technologists and more.
The Common Domain Model (CDM) is an open-source standardised model for how financial products are traded and managed across the transaction lifecycle, hosted by FINOS and based on cross-industry collaboration between ICMA, ISDA, ISLA, financial institutions, trading platforms, regtechs and industry service providers.
