Event overview
The Green, Social, Sustainability and Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles (the Principles) are the global standards for a $1.6 trillion market representing the largest source of market finance dedicated to sustainability available internationally to corporates, banks and sovereigns. These standards were referenced by an estimated 95% of sustainable bonds issued in North America in 2020.
Members of the Executive Committee of the Principles provided an overview of the 2021 update of the standards and related guidance. They also shared their experiences in the US market from issuer, investor and underwriter perspectives, highlighting the crucial contribution that the sustainable bond market is making to finance projects and strategies promoting key social and environmental objectives.
