Connecting future leaders with senior members of the ICMA community
Are you looking to expand your professional network and build connections with senior leaders? Would you like to hear more about the career journeys of leading members of the ICMA community?
ICMA Future Leaders (IFL) “Coffee Connection” is an initiative which enables a small group of young professionals to have an open, candid and interactive discussion with a leading figure in the capital markets, as well have an opportunity to meet others within the IFL community.
This Coffee Connection session will be with Yasmina Serghini, Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Group at Moody’s Ratings.Yasmina manages the analytical team in Paris, focusing on healthcare, including pharmaceuticals and retailing, and oversees the team that manages the ratings of companies based in the Middle East, Turkey, South Africa, and the CIS.
Yasmina actively participates in the ESG integration efforts within the rating agency.
Prior to joining Moody’s, she worked for BPCE (formerly Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne) as a credit risk analyst, covering the airlines, telecoms, and real estate industries, as well as aircraft and shipping financings.
Yasmina is a CFA charterholder. She holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and a university degree in Finance from Dauphine University in Paris. She is fluent in English, French, and Moroccan Arabic.

The workshop will cover a comprehensive range of topics including: an overview of the Principles, financing themes such as climate transition, blue and biodiversity, overview of the EU/ASEAN taxonomies, an update on external reviews, disclosures and reporting as well as a case study on sustainability-linked bond issuance.
