ICMA Market Practices Committee (MPC)
ICMA’s Market Practices Committee (MPC) has two key areas of responsibility:
  • to ensure that, at all times, ICMA’s rules and recommendations properly reflect the requirements of the international capital market as a whole; and
  • to provide guidance to member firms where, for instance, a firm is unsure of the interpretation of an ICMA rule in a given situation.
The MPC has a number of sub-committees, namely the ICMA Primary Market Practices Committee, the ICMA Secondary Market Practices Committee, the ICMA Legal and Documentation Committee and the ICMA Euro Commercial Paper (ECP) Committee.
